SpinTheWheelHub

Privacy Policy

SpinTheWheelHub's tools are designed so that your content never reaches us. There are no accounts and no sign-up. Everything you type into a wheel, generator, or picker is processed locally, in your own browser, on your own device.

What stays on your device

Entries, wheel settings, saved wheels, results history, and preferences are stored only in your browser's local storage, on this device. They are never transmitted to our servers. The site keeps no server database of user content. Clearing your browser's site data deletes them permanently. On a shared device, clear the site data when you finish if your entries are private.

Share links

A share link carries a copy of the wheel (entries, colours, weights, settings) inside the link itself, encoded in the part after the # symbol. Browsers do not send that part to web servers, so creating or opening a share link does not transmit your entries to us. Anyone you give the link to can see the entries in it. Share links are for sharing.

The comment picker exception

The YouTube comment picker is the one tool that talks to an outside service: when you paste a video URL, your browser requests that video's public comments directly from YouTube's Data API. The video URL goes to YouTube. It has to, because that is where the comments live. Your filters and your draw still happen locally, and we receive nothing.

Cookies, analytics, and advertising

This site sets no analytics or advertising cookies. The only stored data is the local data described above, and it never leaves your device.

Children

These are general-audience tools that collect no personal information by design. Teachers and parents should still supervise what is typed into a wheel on a shared screen, because entries are visible to anyone watching.
